My interest in medicine started in high school when, even though I was studying humanities I started to prepare for the medical school. A year later I was admitted to “Carol Davila” Faculty of Medicine. From the very beginning I knew I was going to choose a surgical specialty and studying plastic surgery I was firmly convinced that this is my mission.

 

After graduating among the firsts of my generation, I chose to do the residency in plastic and cosmetic surgery which I brilliantly finished obtaining a specialist diploma in plastic and cosmetic surgery.

 

Out of my drive to be among the best, I took the EBOPRAS examination, an exam that made me a member of the European Board of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Microsurgery and awarded me the European Diploma in this field.

 

Throughout my career, I have perfected my skills by successfully performing numerous surgical interventions and participating in many courses and congresses in United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, Sweden and Cyprus.

 

I am also a published author in several scientific journals, including the prestigious Journal of Hand Surgery (European Volume).
